Electrophoretic Coating

Electrophoretic coating also referred to as Electrophoretic Painting, is a process widely adopted by the automotive industry but has many more applications. The E-coat process requires several stages including cleaning, pickling as well as applying a phosphate conversion coating. The phosphate conversion coating improves corrosion resistance and provides an excellent base for the adhesion of the Electrophoretic Coating. The E-coat is applied before being fed into an oven for final curing.
